有时候辛辛苦苦下载完phpMyAdmin，然后通过ftp上传到服务器，打开来一看，PHP版本不支持当前的phpMyAdmin，又要重新去找对于的phpMyAdmin就很麻烦了哈，我这里简单整理下。

如果登录之后出现#1115 - Unknown character set: 'utf8mb4'，建议使用phpMyAdmin4.0.0版本，phpMyAdmin4.4.0及以上都会强制utf8mb4，对老数据库不支持这个编码的基本就访问不了，因为我测试的是宝塔环境，所以中间的版本都没做测试，可能也支持utf8mb4,大家可以试试，或者使用adminer数据库管理，这个东西就是一个php文件，作者还是比较厉害的，功能上基本能满足需求，不过肯定没有phpmyadmin强大。不过还是推荐大家把老的数据库改成utf8mb4，这个版本还存放emoji表情等等，应该是真正的utf8。美中不足就是phpMyAdmin4.0.0版本缺少控制台功能，先看个历史查询记录都不能。
